Why Is the App Asking Me to Create a New Account When I Already Have One?
If you already have a Team App account but are being prompted to enter two passwords, this usually means the app is asking you to update your existing password, not create a new account.
(This does not apply if you have never previously created a Team App account.)
What You Need to Do
Update Your Password
When prompted, create a new password that meets the security requirements:
At least 8 characters long
Includes one uppercase letter
Includes one number
Includes one special character
Enter the new password twice to confirm.
Verify Your Email Address
After updating your password:
A verification email will be sent to the email address linked to your account
Open the email and follow the verification link
Once verified, you will be able to access your account again
Important Notes
This process is part of an account security update
Your existing teams, memberships, and settings will remain unchanged
Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the verification email
