Password Update Prompt Appearing as Account Creation

Why Is the App Asking Me to Create a New Account When I Already Have One?

If you already have a Team App account but are being prompted to enter two passwords, this usually means the app is asking you to update your existing password, not create a new account.

(This does not apply if you have never previously created a Team App account.)


What You Need to Do

Update Your Password

When prompted, create a new password that meets the security requirements:

  • At least 8 characters long

  • Includes one uppercase letter

  • Includes one number

  • Includes one special character

Enter the new password twice to confirm.


Verify Your Email Address

After updating your password:

  • verification email will be sent to the email address linked to your account

  • Open the email and follow the verification link

  • Once verified, you will be able to access your account again


Important Notes

  • This process is part of an account security update

  • Your existing teams, memberships, and settings will remain unchanged

  • Be sure to check your spam/junk folder if you don’t see the verification email
