Not Receiving Notifications

Team App delivers content and notifications based on Access Groups, allowing admins to target specific types of content to specific members (e.g., committee, players, parents).
If you are missing notifications or not seeing certain updates, it is usually related to access group settings, account permissions, or device notification settings.


Things to Check

1. Ensure You Are Logged In to the Correct Account

  • Confirm you are using the correct Team App account

  • If you have multiple email addresses, make sure you are logged into the account approved by your team

2. Check Your Notification Settings

  • Ensure push notifications are enabled for Team App on your device

  • iPhone: Settings → Notifications → Team App

  • Android: App Info → Notifications → Allow

3. Check Your Access Groups

  • Go to your Team’s Home Screen → Settings → Access Groups

  • Make sure you belong to the correct groups for the content you expect to receive

  • If you are not in a required group, contact your admin

4. Confirm Your Membership Has Been Approved

  • If your access request is still pending, you will not receive full content

  • Contact your team’s admin to confirm your membership status

5. Update Your App

  • Ensure you are using the latest version of Team App

  • Update via the App Store or Google Play


If Issues Still Persist

  1. Check with another member:

    • Ask them whether they are receiving the content you are missing

    • This helps determine whether the issue is personal or team-wide

  2. Follow up with your team’s admin:

    • They can confirm your access, review content targeting, or escalate issues if needed
