Editing certain parts of a recurring event series—especially the end date—is not supported in Team App. Below is what you can and cannot modify, and why these restrictions exist.
Editing the End Date of a Recurring Series
Not possible.
You cannot change the end date of an existing recurring series once it has been created.
This restriction exists to protect important event data. Adjusting the end date could unintentionally remove events that include:
Attendance tracking data
Ticket sales or payments
Parent or player responses
Linked documents or notes
To avoid accidental data loss, the system locks the end date once the series is created.
What You Can Do
You still have a few options if your recurring series needs adjustment:
1. Delete or Archive Individual Events
You can remove or archive specific events within the series without affecting the rest of the schedule.
2. Delete the Entire Series
If major changes are needed, you can delete the full recurring series and recreate it with the corrected details.
Summary
