I am not receiving push notifications. Why?

Push Notification Issues:

First review the trouble-shooting tips below.  If issues remain please delete Team App, turn your device off/on, then re-install the app (none of your teams or content is lost during this process).  

Apple Settings:

Check you are not in 'Do Not Disturb' mode, as sometimes notification sounds and alerts can be blocked when active.

1. Go to 'Settings' on your device.

2. Tap 'Do Not Disturb'.

3. Either turn off all options or make sure that your scheduled 'Do Not Disturb' times are not causing issues with notifications.

4. Make sure 'Notifications' are turned on in your iPhone Settings.

Note: Go back to 'Settings' and select 'Notifications'

5. Scroll down until you see 'Team App' and tap on it. Make sure 'Allow Notifications' are on and one option in the 'Alerts' has been selected.

Team App Settings:

Make sure Notifications are turned on in the app.

1. Tap 'Settings' in Team App.

2. Tap 'Notifications'.

3. Make sure that you have 'Notifications' turned on.

Android Settings:

Check notifications are enabled (management varies by Android O/S version):

  • Tap ' Settings' from the main home screen.
  • Go into 'Device' or 'Application Manager' & find Team App. 
  • Ensure 'Notifications' are enabled & all settings are correct.

Check you are not in 'Do Not Disturb' mode:

  • Tap 'Settings' from the menu.
  • Select 'Sounds'.
  • Ensure that 'Do Not Disturb' is OFF.

If you are still not receiving notifications, contact Team App Support with details of your device and operating system and we will investigate.
