Enable Attendance ??

Cannot work out what this does. Thought others may have wondered the same.

Does this allow you to manually add attendees?

      Hi,

'Attendance' enables an admin to mark off which members have actually attended each event.  So RSVP's are to get replies from people who say they are coming...'attendance' is for admins to actual mark off who was there.  Then within events you can click into 'attendance' for an attendance report.

It's mainly design to get a report on how many training nights each player attended and that type of thing.  It's also helpful for COVID tracking.

You can also add members manually to the attendance for an event - this will add them to the member's list in your team app.

      Kind regards,

      Craig.

Thanks Craig, that makes sense and very handy for COVID-SAFE tracing!

Hi Craig, you said "You can also add members manually to the attendance for an event - this will add them to the member's list in your team app.". Can you give some detail on this, I tried putting in an email not in the current list then hitting OK but it did nothing and just said the attendance had not been changed. Does the person entering the attendance need specific privileges (I'm the admin already so it seems unlikely)?

                  Hi,

Once you are in the 'attendance' section for an event, and once you have marked off at least 1 x member in attendance, you will see an +add member option in the list of attendees.  Click this to add a member to your member's list, which can then be added to attendance by clicking the 3 x dots menu at top right to 'edit' attendance for that event.

                  Kind regards,

                  Craig.
