Electronic signatures?

I remember seeing a video that showed the ability to have someone sign their profile questions/answers with an e-signature but I can't find it in my configurations.

      Hi Will,

Thank you for the inquiry. We had a feature some time ago that allowed us to record a digital signature, however, it was removed for multiple reasons; technical issues and lack of usage.

I don't have it on the radar for a re-release any time soon, so you might be better served creating custom questions and having your members select "Yes / No" - effectively the replacement of a physical signature.

Let me know if I can assist with anything further.

      Regards,

      Daniel

Daniel, Has there been anything added back to the app for this feature? I currently have the Yes/No answers, but am being told that I need to tighten that up.

              Hi Will,

Thank you for reaching back out once again. We don't have the digital signature back on the agenda unfortunately. What is the concern regarding the Yes / No answers and what specifically are you using the information for? If it's COVID related, we might have a solution for you that's being released shortly.

              Regards,

              Daniel

We are using the app to manage a small non-profit waterski team. To that end, there are a couple of release of liability forms that we need members to sign. Up until last summer when we started using the app we needed to have people execute paper copies and return them, or use a PDF with an e-signature (see attached). When I moved it to the app I have yes/no answers to the questions, but they are indicating that we need something more sticky if we should get into a legal situation should we have an injury.

Sorry for the multiple posts 😥

When I hit Post Reply, it took me to another page with a RAQ suggestion and no evidence that the post had been made.

No problems Will... This happens from time to time when people respond.

Unfortunately, your best method might need to be the paper form with written signature. Most we deal with are comfortable with the Yes / No question, as it's associated with the user and we can see a date / time stamp of when they last entered / update information the app.

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

                                      Regards,
                                      Daniel
